The Billing:

- Please note all billing/co-payment is due at the time of appointment.

-Like most of psychiatric practices we take selected numbers of insurances:

at this time we are preferred provider for ​Aetna, Anthem, United Health, Oxford, Cigna, Connecticare.

We reserve the right to change our billing policies at any point in the future.

-Please note: for all Suboxone related services we do not take insurance 

-For out-of-network insurances, please check with your insurance network if they approve out-of network psychiatric services and their reimbursement policies. Your cost may be covered partially or fully by your insurance carrier. We can provide the necessary paperwork at the time of your appointment that you will submit directly to your insurance carrier then reimbursement will be payed directly to you.

Some of the relevant questions to ask your insurance carrier:

-Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

-What is my deductible and has it been met?

-How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

-What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

-Is approval required from my primary care physician?

-We accept all major credit cards, personal checks or cash at the time of an appointment.

 -We do not accept medicaid or husky at this time.

-Please allow at least 48h to cancel appointment; this will give us a chance to fill your slot without much disruption to avoid charges.

The same day cancellations will be charged 75$ and if you do not show up for your appointment you will be charged $100 or full cost of your session.   

Initial psychiatric evaluation: $300

Follow up: depending on complexity, may involve psychotherapy and medications usually 30-45 minutes $200 

Suboxone Induction: $300 (includes initial evaluation and follow-up sessions during induction phase) Maintenance: $150 (in general, once monthly and includes treatment for other psychiatric issues/ dual diagnosis as/ if indicated) Outpatient Opioid Detoxification with Suboxone: $1000 for a typical 5-7 day detoxification (includes all required face-to-face appointments and phone follow-ups in a private/ confidential setting)

Discount in certain cases can be approved by Dr.Joksovic clinic director
